FOSTERD Media Company is a Canada-wide mission to broadcast the honest, emotional stories of guests that reflect on moments of survival, resilience, and the experiences providing a storytelling platform built to share the real, raw, and unfiltered experiences of those connected to foster care, trauma, and resilience.
We begin with podcasts and video series, giving a voice to alumni, caretakers, and community leaders & ones who made the wrong decisions while documenting the truths often left unheard & having hard discussions with people who need guidance or want to make a difference for others.
By focusing on authentic stories, without sugarcoating or exploitation, we create media that resonates on a human level. Our stories spark conversations, shift perspectives while opening the doors to understanding. Our goal is to inspire organic change while encouraging communities to see one another with empathy, choose kindness daily & build systems rooted in love rather than judgment.
Over time, our vision grows into a media company that creates art that will impact through powerful narratives built on experiences. Expanding into music, television and film projects, bringing these powerful narratives to a wider audience through compelling, high-quality productions.
Our mission is to remind youth who are currently struggling that they are not alone. By sharing real stories of hardship, growth, and transformation, we aim to inspire a sense of hope, empower positive action, and promote a mindset rooted in healing, self-belief, and community. Together, we’re building a space where lived experience becomes a guiding light for others on their journey toward success and self-discovery.
